3 Useful Tips for Elaborate Home Theatre Speakers Install

For most new homes, it is the female partner who has final say in most things. They have command of the kitchen, dining room, most probably the living room and definitely the bed and bathrooms. They are the law and that’s that. They do however leave you with two rooms for your choice to decorate and or design and these rooms are the garage and the TV room.

The garage is a man’s own workplace which he is territorial about. In this space, the man can place things that may be of use for him. The size of this space is flexible and may expand or contract when needed. Still, the man can place his power tools, his shop desk, and perhaps even some of his outdoor athletic items there like skis, snowboards, mountain bikes and anything deemed fit for the garage by his partner.

The other place where the man has complete control over is his tv room or in modern times, the audio visual place or home theatre room. It is in this place that the man reigns supreme in the design and look, optimizing it for a theatre experience he probably remembers. There are two important items in this room: the television and the home theatre speakers. While it is easy to install a television set, it is with some degree of practical engineering and a good aural feel that enables a man to set up his home theatre speakers. Here are some tips for first time home theatre speakers’ audiophiles who wish to have an elaborate set up:

1. The measurement is in the ears and not the eyes. Speakers are set up for the purpose of having a good hearing experience whether it be watching an action movie or playing an internet game. Make sure that the speakers do not have any obstacles when being placed.

2. Have a focal point. The center of the couch is the generic focal point for setting up speakers. It is from this point where all things are measured against. Included in this set up are the sub woofers, the speakers, be it a 2.1, 5.1 or 7.1 set up.

3. Regularly fine tune your speaker set up. You may want to constantly experiment with the acoustics of your room by fine tuning the placement of your speakers, especially the right and left ones. The preference is to actually have direct sound waves to your ears, not reflected ones as they can lose clarity.
